Exotix - Terms & Conditions (Rental Agreement Summary)

This is the rental agreement between You (the Renter) and Exotix (the Owner/Operator). By booking/collecting the vehicle, you accept these terms.

1. Definitions

● Renter or hirer: person whose name is on the rental contract.
● Driver: person permitted to drive the vehicle (must meet age/licence requirements below).
● Vehicle: the rented car described in the booking.
● Rental Period: dates and times on the booking.

2. Eligibility & Driver Requirements

● Age: Drivers must be at least 21–25 years old depending on vehicle class (supercars typically require higher minimum age — Exotix will confirm at the time of booking).
● Licence: Valid full driving licence held for a minimum period (typically 1–2 years) or an International Driving Permit (IDP) if required by UAE authorities for foreign licences. Original physical licence must be presented at pick-up.

3. Booking, Deposit & Payment

Booking requires payment as per the booking page. Some vehicles require a security deposit or credit-card pre-authorisation at pick-up. Exotix may refuse handover until deposit/ID/driver checks are completed.

4. Pick-up & Drop-off

Pick-up/Drop-off: As per booking (Exotix offers free pick-up/drop within specified radius for some vehicles; charges may apply beyond). Late returns may incur extra hourly/day charges. Vehicle must be returned with the agreed fuel level.

5. Use Restrictions & Mileage

Vehicles must be used only on paved public roads within allowed regions (no off-roading, racing, or subletting). All rentals include daily mileage limits; extra km charges apply beyond the limit.

6. Insurance & Liability

Basic insurance (third-party and collision damage waiver where specified) may be included; insurance terms vary by vehicle and booking. The renter is liable for: deductible/excess amounts, damage due to negligence, traffic fines, unlawful use, and missing items. Exotix’s insurance coverage and excess amounts will be shown in the booking and rental contract.

7. Damage, Theft & Reporting

All accidents, thefts, or damage must be reported immediately to Exotix and local authorities (police). Failure to report may void insurance cover and make the renter fully liable. Exotix will assess damages and may charge repair costs, administrative fees, and loss-of-use fees.

8. Fuel, Cleaning & Returns

Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up. Missing fuel will be charged at market rate plus service fees. Excessive cleaning due to stains/odours/damage will incur cleaning charges.

9. Prohibited Use

No driving under the influence, subletting, racing, towing, transporting hazardous material, use by unlisted drivers, or carrying more passengers than the vehicle’s seating. Any infringement may result in immediate contract termination and additional charges.

10. Fines, Tolls & Traffic Violations

All traffic fines, parking tickets, and tolls incurred during the rental are the renter’s responsibility. Exotix may pay on your behalf and charge an administrative fee plus the fine amount to your card.

11. Termination & Repossession

Exotix may terminate the rental agreement and repossess the vehicle if the renter breaches terms, uses the vehicle unlawfully, or misrepresents identity/payment. No refunds will be given if the contract is terminated for material breach.

12. Privacy & Data Use

Exotix collects personal data to process bookings and verify identity; refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Contracts are governed by UAE law. Disputes will be handled through negotiation and, if necessary, UAE courts or agreed arbitration.
